My dad passed away today. Through the photos, I'm reminded of his life as an ambitious young man, his role as a father, and a grandfather. His presence was felt throughout my life in his role as my father, as a handyman, as a home improvement instructor, as example of how to not use tools, as pool shark, and as a playful grandfather to my kids. He eventually was humbled and accepted the saving grace of Our Lord, Christ Jesus.
We will meet again on one joyful day. Until then, I will miss you.
