This home at the top of the downtown tunnel overlooking Dock Street is an interesting place to live. The home of my first years in Ketchikan, the hillside proved risky for kids that climbed over the side of the stairs to explore the hillside. At the street at the top of the stairs, my friends and I played kickball, at least until someone failed to catch the ball and it bounced down the stairs and several blocks up Front Street towards the cruise ships.
