Albuquerque has a tram that rides to the top of Sandia Mountain. While the ride isn't fast, going over each of two low peaks where the towers are located is somewhat exciting, similar to being on a roller coaster going over a steep peak. The air at the top (10,600 feet) is thin, too thin for me, but the air is very clear. While the temperature in Albuquerque was nearly 100 degrees that day, the top of the mountain was a breezy 67 degrees. The tram is a "must ride" if you ever come to Albuquerque. And although I didn't take any photos of the Rattlesnake (live) Museum, it is also a must see.
